This LT-Ohio investigation-follow up of Prospect Place was carried out in conjunction with a few members of RIP-Ohio. Once again Lori
and Patti were present under Legend Trackers. All investigators for the evening were accounted for by 8:30 pm and equipment set-up
began along with discussion of particular areas of interest within the house and chatted our prospects and intentions with our guide for the
evening, Heather. After discussions, briefings, equipment set-up and a bite to eat, our activities began. A few of us did, throughout the
night/early morning hours, break off into smaller groups. Below you will find the actual reports from LT members, Patti and Lori. If you

Patti reported:
I have waited a long time to do this report as I don't exactly know how to explain this visits memorable experiences.
So I guess truthfully, I will give it to you straight as it appeared, even though it might sound a little crazy. As usual it
was great to be back at Prospect Place. Property owner's hospitality is extremely gracious. We did have a guide
named Heather, even though we have been there many times although on this return there were some members
from Rip-Ohio with us that had never been there before. Really the feeling and personal experiences speak for
themselves; however on this night I had decided to sit down in the Gentleman's parlour by myself. I was there for
quite awhile. I did have a digital recorder set up and a digital camera. I was quite warm and comfortable when out of
the corner of my eye, something seems a little different in the room. As I look straight in front of me, a little to my
left, I see like a red leather love seat with a high back, with beautiful brown wood beads almost like a cherry wood.
Now it was very dark in this room but the door was open and there was a little bit of light from the downstairs hall, so
my eyes were well adjusted. Everything else in the room was in place, but I noticed the recliner that had been there
was no longer there. From the right side of the chair I had seen a figure about 3 foot tall. I guess most would call this
a shadow person as this was very solid and the arms were long almost to the floor. It came out of the side of this sofa
& walked to the left front of me. I told him, as I think it was a he, to wait and not to go anywhere. This happened very
quickly so I didn't have time to reach for my camera. I went upstairs and got Lorrie. We both came down and sat a
long time and I'll be damned if it doesn't come back again! Only this time we both see it. It came around the side of
the recliner and then took off to the left of us, which nothing was there and then I heard a man say something about
Alice. I then say Alice who? Then I hear like some mumbling which I did catch on my digital tape. I hear the name
Anderson although an "Anderson Family" cannot be validated at this time. I also heard some other names but they
were not caught on tape. We, Lori and myself, decided to sleep in that room (Gentleman's Parlour) and retired about
5am. Earlier before I had went in the parlour room, Lorrie and I were going into the servants quarters and as we
walked through the door which separates the servant qtrs from family qtrs, my flashlight (fully charged) went dead.
We then went back and grabbed my other flashlight that I also had fully charged for backup purposes. Again, when
we returned to the doorway and made our first steps into the actual servant qtrs, the flashlight went dead again!
Wes from rip-ohio was standing there laughing as we returned to the family hallway again with the same complaint.
This was definitely an unexplained double occurrence. Although Lorrie was a bit hesitant to try once again, we did
reenter a third time, with yet another flashlight and batteries, and nothing happened on this entrance attempt. Of
note however, my camera batteries died a number of times, this is quite normal as energies sometimes will do that to
drain your batteries. I know the shadow person sounds crazy but its quite true. No facial features or anything -- just
black solid.. Well, at the risk of sounding like I am off my rocker, anyone who has any experiences with any entities
like this, I would like to hear from you.
LORI reported:
i arrived very close to 6:30 pm, and found Patti already there and somewhat settled in. I found her in the Servants
Quarters already investigating! She spoke of a few sounds of interest and we both sat for a short period of time, after
which we returned through the door of "separation" of 2nd floor wing, to help me bring my items in. We then visited
with Vanessa and Rip-Ohio members in the guest room, where we found them and interacted in dowsing rod means of
communication, which was very interesting . A few of us decided to begin investigation throughout the remaining
areas of the house, beginning up in the "ballroom". I personally do not remember any thing of main interest in this
area-within this particular hour, We then moved from floor to floor , room to room, and eventually down to the
basement(10:35). We arrived within the lowest level of the house and some took pictures upon entrance and then set
up in chairs at the end of the basement hallway. Many were conversing and I decided to visit each and every room to
take my temp readings along with EVP possible communication along with a few photos, since the dust should have
had time to settle. Once I arrived back , pass the furnace area, and tried to enter the first room off to the left when
first entering, I felt a very strong force which did not want me to enter the room to read temp and strongly felt to be
pushing me backwards, as far as to the opposite room across the hallway. I had the feeling they "wanted me to step so
far back, backward into the adjacent room so I would fall-forgetting to step up- and take a very serious or "hard fall".
This was not a physical feeling of pushing, but more of a mental and involuntary source of control. I realized where I
was headed and possible injury, I broke it mentally, and went back to were the rest of the investigators in the area
where. They were still chatting and I tried to share my experience and withing doing so, Katy walked back with me.
Again trying to take temp readings, She felt a hesitant feeling but continued on as I did. I still felt the presence but
not as strong in any form. I then returned to the second floor for a snack and visit the Boys room and Mary's Room. I
stopped into visit with whom of RIP was in the other room and chat over another bite to eat. I then moved on, by
myself to the Servant Qrtrs and after only being there for roughly 15 minutes, I began to feel a bit uncomfy and said I
would return with Patti later, which I definitely heard in my ear, but not on tape in review, "NO, Don't". I then
returned to the Boys Room to review tape to see if that was caught, and suddenly Patti comes in explaining her
experience within the Genlemans Parlour, and I definitely joined her in the particular room. (Please refer above for
experience encountered). STRANGE, but I can say--It is true!!
Oh once again, looking forward to our next visit, as each and every one we make is piecing it all together--somewhat
as we now belong and can share in the life of which were here/there before.

| March 21-22, 2007 Follow-up Investigation Team Equipment: 2 Digital cameras 3 Digital video cameras, 1 w/ IR (infra-red lighting) 4 Digital voice recorders 1 Compass 1 pair of Dowsing rods 1 EMF detector 1 Digital Thermometer ******************************** LT-Ohio members, Lori and Patti, carried out another follow-up investigation of this mid 19th-century home in Dresden, Ohio. The weather conditions for this visit began very warm and comfortable with just sprinkles of rain. As the night moved into early morning hours, the wind became a whip stronger and the rain became more steady. Temperatures, outdoors remained in the mid 40s, indoors average range was 59 degrees. Patti, once again, arrived before Lori at around 5:30pm and settled herself into their usual guest room, after carrying out a long conversation with current house owner, George. This conversation consisted of many different subjects including a bit more regarding family and house history. After Patti got her things up to the room and settled in, she decided to use the computer and send an email to her family to let them know she had arrived safe and well. During this time, she reports feeling as though someone was peeking around the door, just watching her. At one point, this feel was so strong that she believed Lori had arrived and was playing with her. Due to this feeling she called out to Lori with no response, as she had not yet arrived. Lori had arrived just abut 7:30pm and found Patti out walking around the property grounds and taking some photos. Once both members were settled in and once again chatted with George, their investigation began in the barn at just before 10:30pm. Patti began while Lori continued speaking with George. Just about 20 minutes later, Lori had began her walk to the Barn and found Patti back on the main floor, stating that she had made it to the second floor and heard a man's voice stuttering some words along with a strong feel of someone wanting to possible push her down to the lower floor. Once both members entered the area again, Lori captured this picture to the left of Patti: While members investigated the Barn, third floor, many strange sounds were heard. Many of these were considered due to outdoor elements. Although at one specific time, around 11:17pm, both members heard strange sounds of scuffling, possibly coming from the second to third floor landing. Nothing was captured on film nor seen by light of flashlights on the landing area. After an hour an half, our members moved on to the main house. Members then visited the basement area and upon entrance towards the back of the hallway, it was noticed that one of the back slave rooms had been closed off?! Patti and Lori, as many others have choose to do so in the past, decided to sit at the end of the hall. During this time Patti reported having her hair pulled, pics of this experience are posted below. Also many voices were heard, as if off in the distance, all chatting among their selves. One strong voice of a woman was heard by both members at the same time. Major temperature changes were felt during this part of their investigation. |
