| OSR Investigation notes Ohio State Reformatory aka: Mansfield Reformatory |

L.T member, Lori, joined Vanessa and Kevin from RIP-OHIO on an overnight
investigation of OSR. The evening began with some excitement as Vanessa won
an OSR T-shirt. WTG V!
Equipment used included; 3 digital cameras, 1- 28mm APS (advanced photo
systems)camera, 2 digital video cameras with IR (infrared) lighting, 2 EMF
detectors & 2 thermometers.
Orbs were very plentiful on photographs. Many of these photos have been
discarded due to the conditions of the site, such as pealing paint, dust, bugs,
etc., (A few of the "better" photos will be posted on "our reels/reeling" page, for those who like orbs).
Video recordings rendered nothing of interest. A couple of "cool spots" were
recorded by thermometer, one in the long shower room and another within a
small room in the basement area.
While in the long shower room, Vanessa picked up the feeling of which a
"severe beating had taken place at the far end of the room". Later another
investigator stated, history does carry a story of an inmate who was beaten and
stabbed at the far end of the room. Injuries sustained from this attack resulted
in the death of the inmate.
We spent some lengthy time in the "Jesus room". Many orbs were captured in
this room. There are two smaller rooms, one on each side of main doorway into
room. Vanessa experienced the feeling of having a gritty substance thrown into
her face while entering the room, to the left, on one occasion. Just as we were
considering moving on to a different location, we heard strange sounds coming
from the room to the right. We ventured into the room to debunk the sound
which we all had heard, and soon after Lori began to feel a strong sense of
nausea as well as anger. She had to leave the room. In the meanwhile, Vanessa
also experienced; a strong sense of a very angry soul, a serious case of chills
and hair standing up throughout her body, accompanIed with a heaviness in her
chest. She too had to remove herself from the room. Kevin, while in the main
room- taking EMF readings, had felt someone or something pat him fairly hard
on the top of his head. Lori had just taken a photo, before Kevin had stated his
experience, and a bright orb was caught in photo right above Kevin's head!!
Kevin did have a few EMF spikes register while taking his readings.
I would recommend a visit to this site for anyone who has not had the
opportunity to do so as of yet. L.T., will plan to visit as a group in 2007 so that
our members can also enjoy the experience at least once.
