| Private Business #1 The site of this location is also within the Cleveland area. In acceptance of allowing our team to carry out investigation of this building, we have agreed to keep exact location and name of this business strictly private from the general public. We can tell you that this building was constructed in 1874 as a Victorian-Italianate mansion. As mentioned above, the mansion is now used as a business rather then actual living quarters. OCTOBER 23, 2006 While speaking with a few of the current day employees, encounters were shared with us regarding the unexplained movement/swinging of a particular chandelier, faint sounds of children laughing or giggling, the sound of a ball bouncing down the staircase, footsteps heard from the floor above and sightings of someone looking out of an upstairs window while no-one was to still be inside, etc. We were allowed to carry an investigation for two hours and chose to only do half of this building, as we were there during regular business hours. On this investigation three members were present; Debbie, Lori & Patti. Equipment used on this investigation included: 2 digital voice recorders, 1 micro-cassette recorder, 1 video camera, 3 digital cameras, 1 disposable camera, 1 EMF detector and 1 thermometer. We initially began with a general walk-through of the portion of the area in which we were granted access to. This included basement area, first floor, second floor and the attic. During this walk-through, shadows were seen at the top of a staircase which went to the second floor. A photo was quickly taken and showed nothing. About an hour later, the shadow was noted once again from two members, with definitely no-one on the second floor to be the cause of the shadow, that we know of.. Again, photo's did not show the shadow. While on the second floor, two members felt as though someone was standing on the staircase watching/following us and photo's this time did show a bright, solid orb. Footsteps were heard from the attic floor above during one point of our investigation, and once again, all three members were accounted for and not one was in the attic. While investigating the basement area, batteries in one of the voice recorders suddenly went dead upon entering. All three members reported a "heaviness" in the basement. In one room of the basement, both Patti and Lori reported seeing what looked to be a layer of fog, from wall to wall, hanging in this room only. Just before this, Patti had stated she possibly had seen a slight apparition from the corner of her eye moving into that same room. Patti had opted to spend some time in the basement alone while Lori and Debbie continued with the other floors. Patti felt a very strong presence of a male by the name of "John"? Any further information was a bit jumbled and hard to interpret. Two EVPs were captured while on this investigation, which can be heard on the right -->. The first was captured while the recorder was left alone in what looked as though it was a library room. Again no-one was in this area at time of recording. The second was captured just as we were leaving the house. It sounds like a male who is screaming at us about something, this is not one of our members, as we did not yell for any reason! Members would love to follow-up with this site, but only if we are granted this opportunity for revisit. We thank the current employees for their kindness and hospitality during our visit with them. Blessings **** of note ... Within further review of our recordings, we have found ,and are reviewing another EVP. If agreed upon, this will be posted to the public soon after review on November 20th. **************************** NOVEMBER 06, 2006 ***************************** We were invited back to carry out follow-up of this amazing site before some restoration is to be done. We were granted 6 hours to debunk, further investigate,etc, on this fairly warm and partly sunny November afternoon in Ohio. Only Patti & Lori were able to attend this follow up. Equipment used between members consisted of: 2 Digital cameras, 3 digital voice recorders, 2 digital video cameras, 1 pair of dowsing rods, 1 EMF detector & 1 thermometer. Lori did debunk a questionable photo she had captured on her last visit. Lori arrived a short time after Patti. Upon Lori's arrival: Patti stated she had been in, what LT has come to call the "radiator room", and sensed a very strong feel of a man standing "real close" to her side. As she exited the room, she felt the same presence walking along, closely with her to the doorway and she stated it became "uncomfortable" to her. Soon after she (Patti) experienced all of her hand-held/battery operated equipment had encountered battery death, ALL. This occurred as she had entered the back staircase area. Lori, later in the afternoon-while in the same area had felt a very strong, semi-angry presence in the area and choose not to get close to the first step. Patti, within the last hour of investigation, was standing at the top of this same staircase, with her hand on the banister-- felt someone touch the top of her resting hand and then suddenly felt as though someone tried to push her in the direction of the stairs. She also decided to leave the precise area. Just before this experience, Lori had reported seeing "an African-American male, about 35, standing on the third step down from the top". Presence (John), which was felt on last visit within the basement, was not as strong this time. Once again footsteps were heard, by both members, while on the second floor -as if someone was walking on the floor above. Shadows were again seen along the wall of the main stairway. Video of this area was taken and still under review. ++++Video footage is still under review, as well as EVP Some very strange things were captured on recordings and further review between members needs to be carried out before posting. ++Photos are fairly negative other than a few strong orbs, these may be posted in days to come.
