| August 28, 2006 Equipment used during this overnight investigation included: 2 Digital Video Cameras (one w/IR lighting) 2 Digital Cameras 2 Digital Voice Recorders 1 Pair of Dowsing Rods 1 Pendulum Only two members were available on this short notice investigation. Members who attended included Patti and Lori. Weather conditions were stormy with on & off episodes of rain along with sporadic storms involving lightening and thunder. We began our investigation with a walk-through of the property, not the usual given initial tour of the property, as Patti was very interested in seeing what she could pick up from the place with no added information. I must admit, she surprised me as well as Katy (our guide) how close she was at times, containing to the history and legends of this house and surrounding property. Since Patti and Lori did separate at times during their visit, we have agreed this report will be posted by sharing each individual's notes and experiences as stated by each. Lori reported: Basement still carries a feel of its very own, separate from rest of the house. Again, seen shadows and felt a very heavy disgruntled presence. While in Mary's bdrm and after asking certain questions I would get a strong unexplained smell of moth balls and twice got the strong smell of fresh paint as though someone had just opened a gallon of paint. While listening to recordings it sounds as though one of my questions was answered through me- with an "ask Fred", which I seriously do not remember saying at all! Very strange!? Around 5:40 am I heard someone walking in the hallway and no-one was there. Many different experiences in the ballroom: presence of a male possibly by the name of Ben, who may have been a servant who tended the bar in the ballroom area. An unexplained disappearance of a light source which shown on back wall was noted by all three of us. Many orbs were captured during feeling of presences in different areas of the house. Patti reported: After a brief tour,we settled our belongings in the room we were to spend the night in. Right away I felt the presence of 2 small children and another older child grabbing at my fingers and arms, as though just playing. The son's room was across the hall from us. I initially did not like the feeling of this room although later I sat in it and pretty much did not get anything. The door at the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor, leading to a small alcove over the original front door, I immediately felt something about a set of steps and a sensation of if I didn't get out of the way I would fall or be pushed. I later learned the adopted daughter of Anne Adams had fallen to her death at a young age.. I really didn't get anything in Mary's room. The basement was a hot spot and when I return, I will stay down there. The last room on the left (basement) I heard a man grumbling about something and pushed me literally away from the room. Later, in the ballroom while doing automatic writing, I got a message to "not go" somewhere and I feel it was in certain parts of the house. The first room in the basement (upon entering) on the left had a sense of dread and chills when I walked in. There is a hole and pit that looks somewhat like a well. I could not stay in there. I later found out later the daughter who fell to her death from the second floor, was packed in ice there because it was winter and the ground was to hard to bury her. The back steps off the kitchen, when I first went in, I saw an apparition of a young middle-aged woman with a strong "G" name- who was just watching us. The rooms on the first floor were awesome but I didn't really get too much activity out of there, but the history alone is awesome. I find the ballroom is a great interest. I encountered a man by the name of Ben who was spoke of a beautiful wooden bar, but this could not be validated. He spoke of a Beth and an Albert with him. Ben felt as though he was a very friendly soul however there was an entity in there that was not. I could hear him talking a little almost like a grumble in my ear and he was not a happy spirit. While in the servants quarters, I encountered a servant who took care of the family's children besides others. She appeared quite a few times. I felt being touched again and a pressure on my stomach a few times which was uncomfortable. During our time in the barn, I really didn't get much out of except on the 3rd floor, the middle and back rafter I knew men were hung. Although only 1 could be validated, but I definitely felt more. We retired ,, well I retired about 530am and Lorie went on to sit in Mary's room for awhile. I slept very well.. In the daytime, the feel is just like being there at night especially in the stormy weather we had. The door which leads to the second floor back porch, I did not get good feelings about. I was told that was the sick room for typhoid and other things as well. The very top floor of the house to me was more than a lookout tower. I sensed a black young woman and a white male. I felt strongly, this to be the Adam's son meeting up for some hanky panky, as well as within many other places in the house. Also, I got the strong feeling of a baby born to Ben and Beth, however Beth died in childbirth and they were not married and either the baby died or was killed. He was a help-hand there for awhile. His friend Albert, a black male accompanied him through the rest of the time we were in the house. Many other things were felt. In review of our photos, we have found it very curious regarding pictures which were taken in the basement area, none of these turned out- not one of them! These 8 photos only produced solid blackness, darkness within the frames. Please note, the camera took great pictures before and after for our overnight stay, even did not have to change the batteries.. Please keep in mind that some names, which were felt or sensed during our visit, do not match with original owner/children history, could they have been present in time before or even as a common guest? | November 20, 2006 LT members; Patti, Lori & Katy were available for this investigation. Once again, it turned out to be a very interesting visit. As weather in Ohio within the month of November, it was a bit chilly as the sun had rested behind the hills, it was amazingly "warm" for this time of year. The night, element wise; consisted of cool and slight wind breezes, but yet with no storm threats or inconveniences regarding rain or thunder with a new moon about the sky. Sadly, due to the constant chill, we had decided not to venture out to the "BARN" area. Members began the evening by settling in while discussion of plans for the night and investigation ahead. Equipment used on this visit consisted of: 3 digital cameras 3 digital video cameras 1 Pendulum 2 pair dowsing rods 1 thermometer 4 digital voice recorders 1 EMF detector w/probe 1 Compass Below is an interesting video clip which LT members captured from 9 hours of video. This is noted to have occurred at 1:27 am, within the second floor hallway, while members took time to chat. Looks as though it is a light source- reflexion of some sort, however we find no reasonable source for this to be explained. We began our investigation at 9:00 pm and carried through until 3:30- 3:45 am, with some recording devices still up and running while we retired to our comfy guest room. LT members began investigation by spending over an hour up on the Third floor of the house, aka: Ballroom. As legend is said; there are children who continue to play within this area of the house, so members had placed a baseball & a cat ball toy with a bell in the center of ball, on the ballroom floor with chalk markings to alert them of exact original position of these objects in the case of questionable movement of items through the hours of our visit. Sadly this did not prove or show any signs of the existence of this legend, at this specific time. Members also noted a child's toy doll which had been probably set-up by other visitors, this also was marked with chalk in case of future movement of item. Once again, members checked one last time before leaving and did not see any sign of movement. While investigating this floor, Patti sat at one end of the ballroom area while Katy and Lori sat at the other end. All members sat for quite a while with no movement around, so dust could settle. After an hour or so had passed, photos taken show some "interesting colored, solid orbs". This is the exact time Patti turned to Katy and Lori and asked "if they were getting any of this", photos were immediately taken and have been posted. Patti explained she had felt and seen a solid form who referred to himself as "Andrew" and once again the name of "Beth" came into communication. Temperature changes were noted in the area in which Patti was sitting, with ten-to-fifteen degrees drop. No video was set up on this floor during this time and EMF detector was on, on the floor below with no beeping to alert members of any spikes. Of note: voice recording devices were left to record in the "servant quarters" and second floor hallway while members were in other areas of the house investigating, during the entire time of investigation. Members also had continuous video recording carried out during their visit, set up in the second floor hallway. One video camera with infrared lighting was set up in the basement during the hour of 2:00 am and 2:45 am with no unexplained occurrences of interest.
