| Investigation Notes from initial visit of site on December 10, 2007 |
Brief History of the Roadhouse in which LT members have gathered so far.
Chef Fritz's Roadhouse is located at 543 High Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio. Some say this may be the
most haunted restaurant / bar in Lake County, Ohio. The recent building is over 100 years old and the
legends go back to the early 1800s, which consists of a woman who was raped in the bar and afterward
was hanged within the building. It is said that she still resides within the structure. Another story which is
still told is that of a constable who was killed in the pub during the 1900s. A little girl is also said to have
been captured on video tape, although the owner has never seen the footage. It is also stated there is felt
to be a good spirit, a bad male spirit and an older gray-haired lady who also visit this site. Other entities
have also been felt by psychics who have stopped by.
Most of the activity is reported to occur when bands or DJs are playing within the establishment, as if the
said spirits seem to enjoy the music and / or joyful energy shared by the patrons. There are said to be two
doors which entail the images of "the shroud of Turin" and Mary, The recent owner has taken the doors
down in hopes of preserving these images. Recent owner states he has experienced an abundance of
ghostly / unexplained occurrences during his ownership.
Notes from Group visit:
Weather conditions on night of visit were cold, rainy along with some light snow. Moon phase was of a
new moon. Due to distance involved and weather conditions, only two group members were able to safely
make it to the site even though others had initially planned to attend.
Patti and Darla were in attendance for this initial visit, which began around 8 pm when Patti arrived. Darla
arrived around 8:45 pm. Equipment consisted of only one digital camera, one digital voice recorder and
one EVP listener.
Darla has visited this particular site many times in the past and reported that she once again
"encountered strange feelings".
Patti, on the other hand, reported: After her arrival the current owner was very gracious in sharing some of
his stories with her, along with some of the past history which he had heard in regards to this site. He also
showed the "doors" to her and she reported that she could clearly see the face of Jesus on the one and
the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus on the other. She also stated very confidently that it was just the
wood and she noted no fraud or tampering whatsoever involved. The owner shared many photos which
involved many possible energy strings.
She did not pick up on any children or any of the male entities: however within the first 15 minutes after her
arrival, she does report she did see an older Polish-looking woman about the age of 65 in the doorway of
the kitchen just looking at her. Patti strongly felt this woman was quite aware that she could see her and
she disappeared and did not come back. Sadly, no apparition was captured on camera.

* Follow-up will be considered on an intermediate basis.
***Sadly, members were limited to the bar and dinner area and were not allowed to walk through the
upper floor, the basement or even the kitchen areas. This severely limited the initial walk-through for an
honest opinion / outcome regarding if entities truly exist at this site.
