SENECA COUNTY & JOHNSON ISLAND INVESTIGATIONS

November 1, 2008
Investigation of Chapel and Cemetery located in Seneca County.

Investigators present:  Lori, Rick, Patti C. Joe

Equipment used:
3 Digital Cameras, 4 Digital Voice Recorders, 1 Infra red Thermometer, 1 K II meter, 1 Electro magnetic
Field Detector.

Investigation notes:
Initial sweeps of the area recorded base temperatures at 68 degrees within the chapel and 72 degrees
outside in the cemetery.  Investigation of the cemetery brought about unusual results right away. In the
NE section, Lori noticed power fluctuations in her equipment, specifically her digital camera. She
approached the Green family monument and her camera died, as she walked away from that monument
her camera came back on. She then approached the monument and the power drained once again. This
occurred 3 times in a row spanning approximately 15 to 18 minutes. And then the equipment returned to
normal.

In past experiences, Rick and his wife Patti has had similar activity with what appears to be the Greene
Family children. There are 3 boys and 2 girls that died early ages. Rick also reported of a shadow
person that has been seen from time to time in the cemetery but never in the chapel. That last time the
shadow person was seen both Rick and his wife Patti saw it, gave chase and all of a sudden it just
vanished. Unknown if the shadow is a member of those that are buried there but more than likely it is.

Inside the chapel there were a few instances of paranormal activities. Rick sensed a small boy and girl
dressed in 1800 period clothing. The boy was dressed in bib overalls and a straw hat the girl in a blue
and white dress and both were bare foot frolicking and skipping down the isle of the chapel.  Nothing of
course was caught on camera.  Joe detected the presence of an elderly lady in the southwest corner of
the chapel that asked to just leave her alone.

In the past,  Patty has walked up and down the rows of graves and would feel incredible stomach pains.
After further investigation, we have found that this only happens around infant grave sites. This has
happened several occasions at different graveyards and we think it is possibly a sensitive gift that Patty
has been given and needs further documentation and investigation.

Summary:

**   Faint orbs (very few) were photographed in the chapel when carrying out EVP session.
**   Knocks were captured on voice recorder when we asked for a response, not heard with the audible
     ear.
**    Definite camera malfunctions reported in the cemetery with device working properly from there on
during the entire day of investigations, with NO battery changes.

We feel that there is definitely some paranormal activity at this undisclosed chapel and cemetery.  Group
agrees to continue with follow ups and has decided to keep the exact name and location of this historical
site undisclosed at this time.

LT members then continued on from the chapel (stated above) and proceeded to Reed Assumption
Church due to reports of a dark figure, blob like, which flew across the road late one night this summer.

To be honest nothing much occurred here and members tried to debunk the dark figure encounter but
were unable to.  Joe did report , while driving past a particular headstone in the first row, feeling a very
strange sense.  After parking our vehicles, members went to the area noted by Joe and Lori noted that
her photographs taken of this area all came out blurred.  Nothing more of interest was reported by
members and they decided to move on to Johnson Island.

Investigation of
Johnson Island revealed nothing out of the ordinary regarding the paranormal, which
differed from many  stories and experiences that we have heard in the past by other individuals as well
as paranormal groups.   We do recommend if you are in the area and enjoy history, not to pass up a
chance to visit this historic site!!!
