Elusive Woodsman/Cryptozoology Page
Sightings of this tall, hairy, smelly, ape-like figure have been reported
since 1818 and continue to this current day. The first recorded
report regarding the state of Ohio, was made in April 1897, with
another report as soon as May 26, 1897!
Is this possibly the infamous
"Skunk Ape"?  Photograph is to
have been taken in the early
