| Case- xx01 Coffee House June 01, 2006 Site is currently a coffee house/sandwich shoppe in which many unexplained occurrence have been encountered, especially within the basement area. The coffee house is located in the Cleveland area. It is said, some few years ago, an execution-style murder of more then one person had taken place in the basement of the shoppe. The word of strange happenings and/or feelings have not only been reported by employees but also by some customers. Footsteps have been heard, doors have been closed, strange/unexplained sounds have been caught by ear, shadows seen, the feeling of being pushed while on stairway to basement area, objects move, motion detector goes off for no reason, lights have been reported being on well after closing, etc.. * of note: The previous business owner has also been noted to state of personal unexplained experiences while within the walls of this establishment. Although not clearly stated, curious if the possible spirit activity had any weight in the decision-making process to sell or not? ! HM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Equipment used by group members on this visit include: 2 digital cameras, 1 EMF detector, 1 recording device via digital cam & open minds. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ During the initial visit one member, while sitting in a chair in the basement area, felt her boot heel being tugged and even felt as though someone had pushed her shoulder (note she was only one in area at time). Later in the evening, another member reported hearing a male-like moan or groaning sound. Low Emf spike, of a 3, in one area of the basement. Shadows seen while upstairs. One room in the basement carried an obvious chill to it, although we did not have the thermo reader with us at this time, the chill was felt by all. Once again, members felt the strong chill and eeriness once we entered the one specific room in the basement area, but unexplainable, no abnormal temperature changes were recorded on the thermometer. Our most interesting encounter, while on this follow-up investigation, occurred while most of our members were outside of the building. Two members stayed in the basement and while doing so; one member reported to other she had felt a serious chill in her left neck, shoulder and top chest area. The other member present then took a photograph which does have a dark shadow in the area of other members reported chill area. Once our other members returned to inner walls of the building and ventured into the basement area, we noticed after viewing the photo taken, there was some etching on the wall (possible symbols, not legible script) behind where our member had been siting earlier. This dumbfounded L.T., members, as we did not remember seeing this on the wall earlier or even on our last visit. Upon conclusion of our investigation, we asked the owner of the business if she had every noticed this on the wall, and to our amazement, the owner replied with a very solid "NO, I have never seen that there". Also we cannot forget to mention, members during investigation had also noted some bolts in which group members had set on a table, had been changed in position sometime during our visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mid-July 2006 Sadly, L.T., members have been told the owner of this coffeehouse has chosen to close the site of business. Hopefully, we can revisit this site for further future follow-up, with permission from new owner. Blessings until then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AUGUST 05, 2006 Follow up was once again carried out. On this visit only three members were in attendance and this turned out to be a very interesting visit. It seems from past investigations , as well as the continued reports from business owner and helpers: the activity is highest when the least amount of human souls are present or about. And this seemed to be true in our visit once again. Equipment used on investigation included: 1 Micro-cassette recorder 2 Digital cameras 1 Digital voice recorder 1 Digital thermometer 1 EMF detector The "etching on the back wall" , reported on our last visit, was reviewed and determined to read " God Help Me, X" . --Debbie reported while sitting alone in a part of the basement, she was touched twice on her right arm which was accompanied by an unusual coldness coming from behind her. She had also experienced a strong chill along her lower leg and felt as though a child was clinging to her leg. --Lori reported she once again heard the man's voice while upstairs, this has become a constant occurrence on each of her visits to this site. She also reported feeling MANY cold spots in different areas throughout the building. Thermometer read drops in temperature within 10 degrees. --Patti reported that it got extremely cold in the basement at one point for a while, and during this time she seen a shadow of a man and heard a mans muffled voice .. She was unable to make out exactly what he was saying. All three members report hearing sounds in the basement that could not be explained, as well as a few heard from the first floor when no one else was upstairs. No EMF spikes were recorded.
